Dear Editor,

Assalamualaikum dan Salam Sejahtera.

My name is Salihin Saat, and i am currently studying in one of the local university in Sarawak, and to be exact, it's UNIMAS.

When a friend of mine posted this article titled 'Fatanah mohon bantuan ke Universiti Sains Sarawak' on Facebook, i clicked on the link straight away and surprise surprise surprise, what a silly mistake made my the UTUSAN MALAYSIA, one of the reliable and well-established tribune here in our proud and beloved country, Malaysia.

Just for your information, UNIMAS stands for UNIVERSITI MALAYSIA SARAWAK and it was officially incorporated on 24th December 1992, and has accomplished so many things since then. And FYI, UNIMAS has also recently listed in the Top 200 universities in Asia made by The QS Survey.

I asked myself, should i blame the writer? and then this question suddenly popped-out of my mind, 'aren't every single articles should be checked and edited before they got publish?'...

I do hope Utusan do something regarding this thing. And yes, in case you guys wanna know more about UNIMAS, feel free to check on our website! (i provide the link below)

So here i am, burning the midnight oil, while most of my friends are enjoying their sleeps. and yes, here i am again, still in UNIMAS while others spending their quality times with family at home...and enjoying the SUMMER of course! sigh....

(Mak pesan belajar rajin2, but i guess i just ignored her and enjoy much?) <-- PADAN MUKA, huh?!!!

I just cant wait for this to over, 2 more papers left, and im so ready to fly! pack my stuff, and go home...and yes did i forget to mention, RAYA is in less than 2 weeks time?

I believe, there'r millions of Adele fans out there who are dying to meet her and see her performing live. This woman is crazy, TOTALLY CRAZY; #21 is named one of the biggest selling record in 21st century, 12 non-consecutive weeks no 1 on The Billboard 200, with 2 Grammys so far (and much more to come), Adele is no doubt in her own league. and hey, it's all about TALENT babeh!

So have you guys ever wonder how Adele would look like if she's slimmed? Well i do! funny thing when i was browsing through these pictures of current Ms USA 2011, Alyssa Campanella, i saw ADELE! (i talked to myself, this is certainly how Adele would look like if she weighed 118lb ) i can see resemblance in their faces, since both have red hairs and green eyes color...IDK man! maybe u should see it yourself and tell me what y'all think!

Back for Good!

My last post was actually few hours ago. But before that, it was approximately 11 months 15 days since my last-est post (which was nearly a year ago)! lol. What a superbly amazing surprise to see me back, huh? im telling u, this time i'll be back for good! like real GOOD!!! lol.

For the past 11 months, i'm actually ve been looking for my direction (of writing) my blog. i wanna write sth fresh and new and of course sth that will make people continuously following my blog. I just found out writing stuff about myself, what i did, where i went, bla bla bla are kinda boring. come on, i'v nth to do wt the Kardashians, and thus no one's that interested to know what's happening in my life, right?! (plus it's pretty much boring and dull as well!) lol.

At some point, I was thinking of doing a vlog (like seriously). One beautiful morning, this idea suddenly poped-out; i turned on my webcam, chattering and babbling, and there you go! my first so-called Vlog! Well, i recorded a few actually and they'r stored securely in my hard disk! Hrmmmm...i guess i just dont have the guts to post them up on #YouTube as i might humiliate myself! lol.

There were a lot actually that i have in mind, but none of them really work! hahaaa....and i bet some of you will ask this; Did i finally found my direction? and the answer is.........NO!!! lol. and that's actually what bring me here today. i think i'm just gonna do what i do best, be myself and being sincere in my writing...i am back for GOOD! :)

I'm back with new layout, new blog title, new description, etc.

A year has passed and now Ramadan is back! (Yayyy!!!) There are no other words to express how grateful and blessed i am for this ni'mah. Alhamdullilah, praise be to Allah. Just wanna wish all my Muslim brothers and sisters 'Ramadan Kareem'. Have a peaceful and blessed Ramadan and may this Ramadan be a month of blessings, a month full of forgiveness and guidance for you and your family, inshaAllah. Ameen...

Okay, this is wad happened to me (which i believe happen to most of us); slept as early as 10 pm, set the alarm at 1.30, (hope to watch my favorite team playing), woke up, tuned the channel into TV1, wait up till 2.30 in the morning, and wad actually appeared on the screen was an old stupid lame malay drama...pathetic rite? and this happened like 2-3 times!!!

Jalur Gemilang in Africa

Seeing Malaysian flag waving in Soccer City Stadium, Johannesburg during Korea - Argentina match last thursday really make me proud! haha... yeah, sounds so funny i know, but hey, though we couldnt make it to the World Cup, but at least our beloved jalur gemilang is there. im so like 550% sure its Malaysia flag and not the USA (since our flag has a yellow crescent)...hahaaa. and thanks to our friends for bringing along the flag to Africa...LOL!

its V for VUVUZELA!

Its world cup fever and everyone is talking about footballs; anywhere and everywhere; football lovers or non football lovers; men or women. Football spectators all around the world predicted this year's world cup wont be as great as the previous one but they proved themselves wrong! its been a week now since the 1st ball was kicked and hey, we really can feel it, the heat, the madness, the loudness, etc. and yes, speaking about loudness, i believe what actually makes the 2010 edition of world cup special and different is non other than Mr. Vuvuzela. Its actually a tradition for the local people to blow thier vuvus (yeah, sounds so wrong, i know) during the match...the longer it takes for their favorite team to score the louder and crazier they'll get. kinda distracting + irritating at first (especially for the players and the commentators) and some even came out with the idea of banning it from the stadium, but seems like everyone is adapting themselves to the tradition now since we can see, i mean HEAR the sound of vuvuzelas almost at every single matches...LOL! wads 2010 FIFA world cup without Vuvuzela right? im so looking forward for the rest of the matches...

Fungal inhibition test

We did the test couple weeks ago. well, as you could see the growth of the fungus (R. solani) is inhibited along the circle...dats the point where the samples are dropped...kinda successful actually (i think) cause the plasmid (dat inhibit the growth) is successfully inserted into the vector...haha

Internship

Its been a while now since my last post...kinda busy, as always with college and stuff...LOL!!! im please to inform that im currently doing my internship at MARDI, Selangor...well, MARDI stands for Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute...haha, where i work with a bunch of people, who dedicates their lives to research and science...it's really fun to get to know them, and work with them + learn from them...another one month to go and i really want to learn as much as i could and try more new thing each days...
