World AIDS Day

World AIDS Day is observed every year on December 1st. The World Health Organization established World AIDS Day in 1988 and come out with different themes each year. As for this year, the theme is 'Universal Access and Human Rights'.

World AIDS Day is celebrated basically to create awareness among individuals and community globally about the raising issue of AIDS.

There are many ways you can take action in response to HIV/AIDS:

• get tested for HIV
• practice safer methods to prevent HIV
• decide not to engage in high risk behaviors
• talk about HIV prevention with family, friends, and colleagues
• provide support to people living with HIV/AIDS
• get involved with or host an event for World AIDS Day in your community

Go get tested and educate yourself! you can make a change! Happy World AIDS Day!

as i was busy writing for the previous post, somehow i just realized today is the 1st day of December...seriously??!

wow, how fast the time travels...and within few weeks, the year of 2010 is coming and sooner than that is the Christmas celebration! Merry Christmas everyone!!! (in advance) hahaaaa

Believe it or not The Biggest Loser is coming to Asia for the first time! Since its debut in 2004, the Biggest Loser has become a hit with millions and millions of viewers worldwide...The Biggest Loser Asia will be hosted by our own, beautiful Sarimah Ibrahim and is estimated to debut somewhere in November...

Here are some facts about the show;

• It will be an Asian version, therefore covering other Asian countries
• 2 participants from each country (that means only 2 from Malaysia)
• Contest is to be held in Malaysia
• The prize money is US$100,000

so guys, here's the deal...the 1st ever episode of The Biggest Loser Asia will be aired tonight at 9 only on the Hallmark channel (channel 702 for Astro viewers)...so please don't forget to watch it!

Quiet UNIMAS

today is my last day in unimas (for this semester) and im flying back home real soon for holidays!!!

i walked around, from college to college (looking for place to eat), across the bridge, from east campus to west campus (by bus for sure) and found out this place is so dead! it's the quietest place on earth...hahaaa


for those who stays here throughout the holidays, i asked myself, could they stand this place? for 30 days?

i pray all the best for them and i'd love to hear their experience real soon...btw, Happy Holidays guys and have a wonderful one!!!

smize

ANTM cycle 13 has now come to an end where we already know the winner, Nicole! but im not gonna talk about her this time since i found something more fun and interesting in ANTM this season (apart from the petite models)

in one of the episodes, Tyra came out and dressed up in a superhero costume as 'Super Smize'!!! and hey, i was introduced to a new word by Tyra that is 'Smize'

for those of you who didn't quite familiar with the word, 'Smize' stands for 'Smiling with your eyes' and guess what? tyra pretty much wants it on Urban Dictionary... here some brief tips on how to smize...

first, keep your shoulders down, neck up, string coming up from the top of your head, squinch, put your hand on your tummy and think of something delicious (could be a sundae or pizza maybe)... then try to smile <--that's pretty much of it there you go...now it's up to you; Smize or No smize!

finally they're leavin... i've been waiting so long for this moment; quiet and peaceful apartment like what it used to be.... since they moved in, they create tons and tons of problems and really screwed out my life (or maybe screwed the others as well).....haha. well, im talking about the JUNIORS....

i thought it was supposed to be the other way around, the seniors bully the juniors, lol... but i guess things changed now! haha

whatever it is, i really really hope they move to somewhere else next semester...or at least please try to change (if you were reading this)

Fazura Rocks!

Oh my Gucci! i watched 'Pisau Cukur' last night and i never thought it would be this good and funny and hilarious and hot...one of the best malay film this year i must say...

i just cant stop laughing from minute 1 till the curtain fell down and my girl Fazura really nailed it...she played Intan, a famous journalist who is so so equipped with a long list of of rich guys in her head (just in case she might need them in future) but she already got one actually...she's funny, she's hot, she's crazy, she's dumb and most importantly she's a GOLD DIGGER!!!...i mean for real...haha

the plot, the settings, the cast, the script, the lines,the conflicts,..........i love everything about this movie...

2000 visitors

the last time i visited my blog was 3 hours ago where at that moment i had about 1900+ visitors visiting my blog...within few hours the number has increased to 2000 visitors....for real?

this is insane cause at first i do blog just for fun, to keeping me up with my closest friends and family... hrmmmm, maybe it is time to change, i should think of something new and fun to improve my blog to attract more visitors maybe...what a long way to go and lots of stuff to do i guess?!!!

After 3 weeks of struggles and burning the midnight oil, exam is officially over and it's time to pay back whatever things that i missed for the past 3 weeks....hmmmm, let me list down some of them

Here are ten tips that help me with my blog writing.

1. Make your opinion known
2. Link like crazy
3. Write less
4. 250 Words is enough
5. Make Headlines snappy
6. Write with passion
7. Include Bullet point lists
8. Edit your post
9. Make your posts easy to scan
10. Be consistent with your style
11. Litter the post with keywords

1. Make your opinion known
People like blogs, they like blogs because they are written by people and not corporations. People want to know what people think, crazy as it sounds they want to know what you think. Tell them exactly what you think using the least amount of words possible.

2. Link like crazy.
Support your post with links to other web pages that are contextual to your post.

3. Write Less
Give the maximum amount of information with the least amount of words. Time is finite and people are infinitely busy. Blast your knowledge into the reader at the speed of sound.

4. 250 is enough
A long post is easier to forget and harder to get into. A short post is the opposite.

5. Make Headlines snappy
Contain your whole argument in your headline. Check out National newspapers to see how they do it.

6. Include bullet point lists
We all love lists, it structures the info in an easily digestible format.

7. Make your posts easy to scan
Every few paragraphs insert a sub heading. Make sentences and headlines short and to the point.

8. Be consistent with your style
People like to know what to expect, once you have settled on a style for your audience stick to it.

9. Litter the post with Keywords.

Whoa, it's been nearly 3 months since my last post...

well well well, i am back...
in a blink of an eye, this sem is almost over and yeah, what else you'd expect to come to your life before you could start packing and go home for holidays other than EXAM!!!
I'd like to wish my college friends (i mean university friends) all the best and good luck for the final exam...strive for the best and don't overstressed yourself...Have fun guys!

it's the new semester... will be my second year in unimas for sure... last semester was a busy and complicated one where i had to admit i couldn't really organized myself; studies and JPK things... and yeah, my exam result too...not as good as the previous one.. sigh... now im hoping a better life in campus with new motivation and determination...
